    Hi there,

    I have attached two images. One called “My Featured Images” which is a screenshot of my GD listings. The other called “Featured Image Same Size” is off an auction website but all the featured images are the same size.

    I understand that the first image in a listing becomes the “featured image”. Is there any way at all for the front end user to crop the featured image so they all appear uniform and tidy when scrolling the listings like in the example?

    I hope that makes sense. My website is https://fashioncollaborate.com where you can see my listings such as Castings, Places and Events.

    I love your product by the way.

    Thank you

    shonty

    Hello,

    GD doesn’t having any cropping. We recommend you instruct users in what format they should enter.

    If necessary you can also add an additional file upload field. You could then give them instructions about what size or shape to make it.

    With regard to making all the images look the same size/aspect ratio, you can try adjusting your archive item to “cover” in the advanced options. Cover both with make sure that the image is ‘zoomed’ to fill the space.

    Please see:

    For cover both, it is the default settings

    cover=""

    [gd_post_images type="image" ajax_load="1" slideshow="1" show_title="1" animation="slide" controlnav="1" link_to="post" cover=""]
