Featured listings not showing first on category listings page

    Hi. I am trying to get the “Featured” listings to display first at the top of our category listing pages. For example, we have a category for “Apartments”. I’d like the featured listings to be first as they pay a fee to be featured. However, I can’t seem to find any way to get these featured listings to display above the standard and free listings.

    Also, once we get the featured to display first, the next ones to be displayed should be the standard listings (they also pay) and last should be the free listings.

    I figured out the issue with it not displayed. It was entered in originally as a “free” listing. It was then changed to a featured package but it also needs to have the “is featured” checked. I did that and now it’s showing.

    Followup question: We enable additional fields for entry if it’s a featured ad but changing it to featured is not showing additional entry fields for the place listing. Where can I get to these additional fields that are defined as only available to featured listings? Thank you.

    Hi,

    Custom fields cannot be enabled for featured listings, they can be enabled/disabled per price package same as the Is Featured option.

    You need to switch the price package on the add/edit listing form.

    Only enabling the is featured option on the listing will not add the extra custom fields.
