    Hi Diane,

    Thanks for the feedback. If enough people want to use it that way then we might add our own items to the BB. Currently there is no preview when you are adding the row, you just have to know what ur adding. You can edit it by hovering and then clicking the settings but there is no live preview.

    If you need help with anymore examples just let me know.

    This is probably going to sound like a crazy question but if I created my CPTs with another tool like PODS/MetaBox would I be able to use them with GD and connect them easily to the map, claim listings and all the other GD functionality? Thanks

    If it would make it easier we could try and make it so the post meta would work via key if you prefix it with “geodir_”, would that solve your issues?

    All the GD info can be got via widget and shortcodes.
    Also once Gutenberg comes out you will be able to build the page templates visually like how you want.

    I’ve just discovered what the Post Meta widget can do and actually it will work perfectly with most of what I wanted such as the above/below header parts based on post category. Many thanks for guiding me in the right direction!!

    There’s still a problem pulling in the featured image as it disappears when not in edit mode. BB are testing this for on their server in case it’s a caching problem.

    It’s still a bit of a workaround having to insert saved rows but yes, Gutenberg will help with this layout. I have a feeling that the geodir_ might make everything a bit more seamless (and allow me to create my buttons with modals easily) but you would know better than me.

    For the featured image make sure to untick GD> design > detila > disable featured image output.
