My client would like the standard WordPress capability where if the email address doesn’t exist in the system upon forgot password request, they receive a message advising them that it doesn’t exist in the system.

    Please assist 🙂

    Thanks so much

    Hello!

GeoDirectory is optimized for use by busy business owners (listings owners) with custom login and registration pages.

Additional ‘membership management’ type options are available in our fast and free UsersWP plugin, which does provide that forgot password dialogue and the error “Error: This email doesn’t exists.” which can be further customized through translation of the plugin.

I appreciate that information, thanks – however I don’t require any of the other functionality of that plugin so I think it may be overkill – are you aware of a quick something I could add in functions.php which may do this one little trick?

On my test site I can see that error when using only GD login. The text is:

    Invalid Email, Please check

    See SS attached

To change that text you can use the translation method: https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/translate-core/
