Franchise Expiry Date

Hi,
I have had a series of events that were set up as franchises under a main event heading – The main event had an expiry date but this option is not available on the franchises and I assumed that these would all expire on the same date as the main listing but it hasn’t happened that way. The main listing has now expired but all franchises still appear so my question is should that happen? And is there any way of giving franchises an expiry date? If not presume I would need to go through each and manually set to ‘draft’?

When clicking ‘Main Franchise’ – http://leapinghare.org/events/norfolk-1/thetford-1/community-1/heritage-open-days-2016/ – Shows as no longer there which is correct but individual events still live
