I’ve spent a ridiculous amount of time trying to implement a ticketing aspect into GeoDirectory. GT-Vouchers is inadequate for my needs. I need users to be able to create and sell tickets via front-end, along with QR code event check-in leading to attendance notification confirmations for the event manager/creator. The best thing I can think of to do is to combine both Geodirectory and The Events Calendar Community Events front-end submission forms together using Gravityforms. That way, one form would be used to post to both Geodirectory and Events Calendar (I own both) so each would always be in sync. I tried using WP All Export/Import to sync both Events custom posts by using CSV files, but that seemed…not optimal since I plan on handling a vast amount of event submissions where update time is a key factor.
Would Gravityforms support Geodirectory event submissions? If so, could you provide a link to the necessary codes? Does anyone have a better idea how to solve my ordeal involving front-end ticketing? I love Geodirectory, but this missing feature is a fatal flaw in my case.

    Thanks

There are no plugins that allow your users to sell tickets directly from your site. That would require each user to connect their payment system to your site.
The best I can suggest is to have your users link to their preferred ticketing site where they sell their tickets.

Thank you for the reply but it appears that you did not read the original post.

TL;DR I am looking for a way to give users a way to sell tickets directly on my site. I am looking for a workaround to implement it with Geodirectory. I do not want to link to another site. Could someone please answer/provide help to my original questions? Thanks.

There is no workaround, because it would require each user to connect their payment system to your site. That is not possible.
Are you thinking of collecting the money on their behalf?

The Events Calendar Community Events front-end submission does not do anything more than GD events.
Both allow events to be added by your users.
But adding an event does not mean that tickets can be sold.

    Incorrect.
“Are you thinking of collecting the money on their behalf?”
    No, I am not.
“The Events Calendar Community Events front-end submission does not do anything more than GD events.”
Sir, I am afraid you are mistaken.
Please close this thread if at all possible. It is already unhelpful enough.

I’ll close the topic, but I am curious why I am incorrect and mistaken. If it is possible what you are suggesting, I would like to know how.
    Maybe I am completely misunderstanding.
