    Hi

I noticed that search results are different for the same keyword if i use API instead of front-end search (i get less results with api for most keywords).

Is this a bug or they have different queries on purpose and is there a workaround to get same results with api?

    Thanks.

I think it is because API search is not searching the keyword on taxonomy field so to get the same results I’d have to make 3 different queries ( for each argument separately: search, gd_place_tags and gd_placecategory ) and then merge the results.

Or maybe I’m mistaken and there is a better way for this to avoid 3 queries?

    Thanks!

GD Search searches title, description, tags and categories.
I am not sure about the API search, I’ll get the developers to have a look at your question after the weekend.

    Thanks
