I contacted support for you and managed to get them to fix it, they said

“It was an issue with permissions. I ran a script to correct the permissions of your files and that resolved the issue.”

but i had checked file permissions, it must have been a user permission problem… Anyway GDB should work for you now.

    Thanks,

    Stiofan

    Hi Stiofan,

    Many, many Thanks.

I had gone into my dashboard and found that the GD Booster has already been enabled.

But I find a Note at the top which is now appearing as : GD Booster: detected significant changes. Found 2 files in the cache; auto-wiping.

I hope there is no issue with that.

Now I need to check my other sites where I had difficulty in enabling GD Booster.

Please let me know the file permission settings, and which files, so that I will have them changed from my cpanel.

    Thanks once again,

    gsr

    Hi,

The note you see is just an alert that the cache is being delete and regenerated. Nothing to worry about.

please ask the server admin to setup everything like it has been done for this last website.

    Thanks

    Hi Paolo,

I had just changed the file permission of advanced-cache.php to 0755 from 0644 in eypindia.info site, where I when enabled the GD Booster, the site was garbled (and the advanced-cache.php file was blank). Post the change in permission, and enabling GD Booster, the front end of the site appears normally and the advanced-cache.php file is full of GD Booster code (about 42 bytes).

I hope I will not have any problems in the future, when I create more city based sub-sites.

    Thanks and rgds,

    gsr
