GD Booster block icons in Divi theme, icons show as numbers

    Hello guys

    After several analysis. I have realsed that when GD Bosster is enabled it blocks my social icons and other icons like (back to the top icons). Instead it displays numbers.

    I initially logged a case with Elegant themes they advised to add a code to .htaccess file because Some hosting sites do not read the font file directly.

    <FilesMatch “.(eot|ttf|otf|woff)”>
    Header set Access-Control-Allow-Origin “*”
    </FilesMatch>

    After adding the code above, it still didnt work until I turned off GD Booster.

    I do not adding the code to .htacess made a difference but soley on GD Booster becuase i removed the code and disabled the GD Booster and it showed properly

    Kindly have a look at my site and advise. I really like to use GD Booster and it get the icons showing.

    Hi,

    all you need to do is to add the css file name handling these icon to the concatenation exclude list of GD Booster (last option before the save button)

    If you provide wp admin credentials in a private reply I can have a look for you.

    Exactly what changes did you make?

    My best of widget on the homepage is now affected.

    Kindly have a look.

    I added divi/style.css to the exclusion list. The problem is that currenlty I can’t tell which style.css to exclude and gd booster is excuding them all, causing the best of widget error.

    I’ve asked to the developers to make sure we can specify which style.css to exclude, if more than one is present in the website.

    At the moment I’d disable GD Booster if I were in you. At the moment fixing the icon problem creates this other problem.

    Oh Okay..

    I have removed the “style.css” from the gd booster exclusion list instead.

    I really like the GD Booster. I makes a huge difference in my sites optimization..

    So does this mean i have to wait for a GD Booster Update? or just a fix from the developers? Whats the ETA then?

    sorry,

    it still looks BAD with my icons showing as random characters and numbers.

    i will disable gd booster instead.

    kindly advise on when this can be resolved as gd bosster really makes a difference for me.

    if you read carefully my previous reply, I suggested to disable GD Booster until a fix for your particular case was provided.
