GD Booster not compatible with Avada Theme?

    Hi – my website is very slow so trying to improve the speed with the GD Booster plugin (using Avada theme). My web designer has tried activating this plugin but it seems to have compatibility issues with Avada (causes lots of changes to the formatting), is there anything that can be done to fix the formatting issues or should I try a different WP plugin? Either way I really need to address the speed as it’s a big issue…
