GD Features Widget – add link?

We are trying to set up a row on the homepage that shows selected categories including a linkable title, a thumbnail and a description. The links will link to category pages, not listings.

Also, we want to be able to pick and choose the categories to display, so we can’t use the CPT Categories widget.

We tried the GD Features widget. That’s almost exactly what we want because it creates a nice row of pages that we can control. However, I don’t see a way to add a link to the title and/or image. Can that be done through this widget, or do you have another suggestion on how to set this up?

We are using the GeoTravel theme.
