gd listing import export not working

    Hi,

    I am not able to import a gd listings file. Even with the demo data exported, I am not able to import those again. I have created a list of over 1000 places and I need to have the import function working. Any ideas?

    Hello!

    Have you done a test like?

    fresh install (WP and GD)
    setup Google API Key
    Set default location
    add demo content
    export listings
    delete all listings from WP
    import the (previously exported) CSV (without making any changes)

    This will help you to establish a baseline.

    If you haven’t already, please read the advice for imports at https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/core-export/

    LibreOffice is the (only) tested and recommended solution.

    I just exported and imported without any problems.
    What are the exact errors you get and if you can post a sample CSV file we can check that too.

    Thanks guys,

    looks like openoffice calc is the culprit (or some default settings), after saving the same file with libreoffice I was able to import something.
