when I display an image in the GD Top Widget, in order for the image to be readable on mobile, I’ve had to make the length 200px. Which overwhelms the screen on the desktop. Is there anyway to way to determine if the user is on desktop or on mobile and display a different image (size) for each.

    Thanx

    Hi joe purcell,

Thanks for your post. Could you share some screenshots of how it looks like on your end and also share the URL of the page in question.

    Hi Joe,

Thanks for your reply. I’m able to see the issue now. Could insert a larger image on desktop view? I’d like to see how it looks like on mobile.

    Thanks!

The image I attached was a mobile screenshot.

as I stated, in order for the image to be readable on mobile I had to make it 1400×250, but thats makes it to big (overwhelming) on desktop.

the solution would be if I could use one image for mobile and a smaller image for desktop (1400×110) maybe

my question…is that possible?? and how??

    Thanx

There is not a function in GD to determine if the user is on mobile.

CSS has advanced functionality called media rules to write specific rules that target displays at different resolutions.
