    Problem still not solved, still and always the same problem… Please watch the screenshot correctly, there is all the information to see the bug.

    Kiran please, please read me correctly. From the beginning I specify that I use only French addresses. Do not talk to me about regions timezone, in France ALL regions have the same timezone 🙂

    Thank you in advance for solving this problem.

    Hi Adrien,

    The Timezone field is in relation to UTC and does not need to be adjusted for DST (daylight savings time), so i think it should be +1 for France?
    I will add a note in the input settings for this.

    For the business hours to have it expanded if you are using the post meta widget under advanced settings you can add the extra class “gd-bh-expanded” which will show it as expanded by default.

    If i can help further just let me know.

    Thanks,

    Stiofan

    Thanks Stiofan,

    But I’m sorry I don’t understand what you mean about UTC/DST 🙁

    The only thing I can tell you is that currently in ALL France we are in summer hours (+2 compared to UTC). And the business hours feature does not work properly, despite the fact that there are +2 in its settings, as shown on my screenshot.

    UTC = Universal Time Coordinated
    DST = daylight saving time

    France offset is +1 from UTC (not accounting for DST), the input on the add listing page expects this, the calculation for DST is done on the output function not the input function. The input expects the standard +/- offset so that you never have to change it.

    I have updated the text to read:

    Timezone offset from UTC (not including daylight savings time This is set automatically when address is set)

    All times should be +1 if in France, you can use the import/export to bulk update this if you have many listings that need changed.

    Thanks,

    Stiofan

    Ok I understood.

    In this case, if GeoDirectory takes into consideration the correct timezone offset from UTC (not including daylight savings time set in WordPress settings), why does it still display +2 in the opening hours settings, when I create a new listing? I have to manually correct +1 every time.

    Thanks.

    About the class “gd-bh-expanded”, the problem is that it expands ALL modules of opening hours on the website. I only want an auto-expand for single listing page. It is possible?

    Hi Adrien,

    1. The default should be +1, it looks like for some reason it is defaulting to the DST version, i have fixed this and it will be in the next release.

    2. The class should be added to the widget which should only affect that widget, not sure how exactly you are adding it?

    Thanks,

    Stiofan

    Hi Stiofan,

    1) Thank you is clear now.

    2) I added the class in the “Business Hours” custom field (which appears in extra output location). I do not have a “Business Hours” widget ?!

    Hi Adrien,

    When you want to control the output of a custom field, then you will need to take it out of the “Show in extra output locations” display and use GD Post Meta.

    So, if you want the business hours to show ‘expanded’ on the Detail page, then UNCHECK Show in extra output locations -> Details page sidebar, then add a new widget for GD Post Meta to the Detail page sidebar. In the advanced options of the widget you can then add the custom class, limiting the expansion to just that widget.
