I started a new project, and installed GD v2 to start. Then adding add-on to the site but find that most of them generates fail error when activating add-ons.

Further to that, it seems to break WP as well, when I click any WP functions, fatal error message pop up too.

Please advise what could cause this?

    Thanks

    Sam

    Hi Kai Liu,

Thanks for your post. Please make sure that you’re installing the correct version of the addons. It should be v2 as shown in the attached image.

Also make sure you use the correct theme versions if you are using Directory Starter or Supreme.

I realize what happened. I installed GD from WP plugin and thought that it was V2 as titke shows V2. So i never check GD version when finding issue. Now Guust pointed out in my other post where i notice GD from WP plugin store is in fact V1.

Just want to confirm if database table of V1 will be removed if I delete GD in WP?

If you had V1 installed, you must use the converter to V2, or

delete the database in your hosting control panel and create a new one, and set up WP and GD starting with V2. The table will not be removed.
