GD Version 1.6.32 update issue

    Hi guys,

    I just did the GD Version 1.6.32 update and now various built-in social sharing icons and menu icons on my template are missing their corresponding images/text. The fields are there and still work but there are no overlaying images to tell you what that field is. I’ve done several GD updates and haven’t had a problem until now. Is there something in the recent update that would cause that issue? If so, how can I fix it?

    Hi Kenneth,

    Thanks for your post. Kindly update the Directory Starter and Supreme Directory themes as it should fix the issue you had here. Also, remember to clear your browser cache.

    Cleared cache on all browsers and devices. No change.

    GeoDirectory has been updated to use Fontawesome 5 JS SVG. There is, it appears, a conflict with the version that your theme is using.

    Also, yes you can write back with your site details and we can see if there is a workaround.

    I found this post on the font awesome issue I’m having. They give a couple fixes some are saying worked for them. I wanted to get your thoughts about this before we try it. Please let me know what you think.

    As I read it again, their issue may be related solely to the Simple Author Box Plugin. However, the issue I’m having with the GD update is identical. Maybe there is something in this workaround that can help in our case. Let me know.
