    Dear GD support team,

    while checking the functionality of GDv2 in my dev2 site I found the following problem:

    Within backend editor I have a problem to be solved:
    a. “Categories” are not referring to selected “default post type”

    It looks like there is a problem with the block.
    Please try ‘resolve’ or recreate the block.

    If you add the GD > Listings block, then select the CPT.
    Save the page and reload. You will see the categories will be updated.

    Possibly a conflict with a non-GD plugin.

    I have tried by deleting the blocks, create new, saved page and tried to select the corresponding categories but still with same negative result.

    Please try by your self it is a dev2 site to be able to change. Let me know your results to be able to reproduce the same.

    Yes, we can create the same, it is possibly a conflict with a non-GD plugin. Turn all non-GD plugins off and see if that fixes it.
    Then turn them on one by one until you find the reason.

    I tested it at https://dev2.worldcheckin.com/wp-admin/post.php?post=117459&action=edit&lang=en and this is a workaround:
    If you add the GD > Listings block, then select the CPT.
    Save the page and reload. You will see the categories will be updated.
