I changed my theme from Kleo to Buddyapp and the geo directory just gives me a white page now. I have tried reinstalling and troubleshooting but I get nothing. Please help
June 6, 2018 at 4:33 am #433850Hi Rocky,
Thanks for your post. Could you try using the GD tools to repair those pages? If that doesn’t work, kindly share WP admin access in private reply so that we could take a look at it. https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/core-tools/
Thanks!

when the theme is changed, then widgets must be added again, as widget settings are theme specific.
Widgets must be added to the GD Home widget areas in order to show listings on the GD Home page.
June 7, 2018 at 6:11 am #434054I tried all day to make it work. The other one I had looked just like the child themeversion @ https://wpgeo.directory/gdf-modern/. However I cant even get the map to show or any of the other widgets. Do you have an option to pay a fee for help on a complete install? I am a ta complete loss as I am not a developer and the one I have doesn’t understand it either. The only way I can make revenue is by selling ad space in the directory and I cant figure it out at all. Please help
June 7, 2018 at 10:21 am #434072Certainly several of the GD Experts offer Concierge setup services:
https://geodirectoryexperts.com
To GD Home Content Area add GD Home Map and Popular Post View
That’s the most important. Then make sure you have a link to your GD Home page in your menu to send your visitors to your business directory.
June 8, 2018 at 12:11 am #434156I was able to put widgets in place and I made sure all the right settings are in place for the top, left, right and bottom sections but everything only shows in 1 column. I have triple checked settings and cant get it to separate the sections.
also…
whenever I try to search for something in the geodirectory it searches my website and not the geodirectory (which is a page within my site). I have a standard search bar for my site which is designed to search the site. The geodirectory page has its own search but when I try to use it… it works like my other search and not a geodirectory search.
June 8, 2018 at 6:58 am #434175Hello,
if you are using a sidebar, then perhaps the %s must be adjust in Geodirector – Design to account for your theme
June 8, 2018 at 7:12 am #434185Nope. I have tried it all. I adjusted to 30 30 30 and that didnt help either.
any idea on the search issue?
please help

I am not a developer. I bought the theme and just tried to move it over. Is this something you can fix? I sent over all my log in info in a previous response.
Also I have asked about the search bar issue 2 x and no response.
