    Hello,

    I am a new developer and im having a few issues with it that i could use some help with.

    http://dev.homebecause.com/directory/

    1. The directory links dont seem to work. Its saying page not found but are fine when i do preview

    2. The icons i placed in seem super huge is there a proper size that i should be using?

    1. It seems you have not set your permalinks correctly: https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/basic-installation/#postnames

    2. Icons should be about 50×50 pixels.

    I cannot see any errors, you will have to explain in detail where you get any error.

    Regarding the CSV, it misses compulsory fields: post author.
    You deleted default columns like: default_category
    Your website field should start with http://
    Best practice is to export existing listings to get the right format, in your case see attachment:

    I fixed that and it seems to still giving these error not sure why

    Total 1042 item(s) found.

    1042 / 1042 item(s) could not be added due to blank/invalid address(city, region, country, latitude, longitude).

    You still have not added an author ID in the post_author column.
    The default_category column is empty.
    The website URLs do not start with http://
    You are missing columns: claimed, package_id, alive_days, expire_date, post_date, geodir_special_offers, IMAGE
    You have moved the geodir_video column, you should not change order of columns.

    You seem to be editing the file using Excel

    CSV files should only be edited with OpenOffice or LibreOffice Calc. This is because Microsoft Excel has auto-formatting built in which can not be disabled; we have seen many cases where this leads to broken phone numbers, addresses and 90% of the time wrong GPS information.

    You still do not have an author ID in the author column

    post_author: the WordPress ID of the WP user, for example you can use 1 for the first admin account created

    Thanks!! I got it too work. There is a huge gap between the side bar widget and the content. Is there a way to change this?

    I added some CSS at GD > Design > Scripts.
    And changed some settings at the other tabs at GD > Design.
