    Hello Support,

    I’ve just updated the website theme and plugins.

    But the update doesn’t seem to be recognising the child theme and the changes I’ve made…?

    Any help would be great.

    Thanks
    Wayne

    Hi,

    not sure I follow, which theme did you update and which theme is currently active?

    If you share a link and admin credentials in a private reply, we can have a look for you.

    Let us know,

    Thanks

    HI,

    you had a wrong setting in GD >> Permalinks.

    You assigned the same home page that you want to use as front page to also be the GD Home page.

    I’ve changed that, let us know if there is any other problem.

    Thanks

    Hi,

    the background image on your home page is coming from the child theme style.css.

    In your custom css I don’t see anything that would make the menu brackground color clear.

    The template used for the custom home page doesn’t have the function to call the footer.

    get_footer();

    It does have

    wp_footer();

    that normally it is only called inside footer.php

    Thanks

    @idleme please open your own topics, this doesn’t seem related to your issue.

    Thanks

    p.s. don’t forget to share url and credentials or we can’t really do anything…
