Geo pages always picking the Main Sidebar

    It seems that the Geo pages (like GD Archive and GD Archive Items) always pick up the Main Sidebar. Is there a way to disable this or override it in order to assign different Sidebar to different CPT’s?

    Follow up:

    I also noticed that the Activity page does not pick up the Main sidebar and was able to assign a custom sidebar to it.

    Hi Mazin,

    Thanks for your post. Also keep in mind that you have the option to choose which widget to appear in which page using the Show/Hide Option as shown in the attached screenshot.

    Yes Kor, I am aware that some widgets allows to select where to appear. But my problem is with Sidebars. I have created custom sidebars using SQ Sidebar Generator plugin. The plugin works fins. However, I am trying to assign the custom sidebar to specifically GD Archive Items.

    GD Archive Items ALWAYS uses the default Main sidebar or the Extra – 3 columns pages.

    No matter what I try, GD Archive Items always picks the Main sidebar !!
