Is there any particular reason for Geocode Request Denied error?

My Google Map API is working (maps are all working fine). Checked API config, Geocode is on, domain has been added to credential.

Any possible place I can check to debug this error?

    Thanks

    Sam

Check your google api console, the geocodes given for free are very limited compared to other things, that might be the issue.

    Hi Guust,

I know the error, some of them has missing Lat Long, about 30 out of 10k. I thought Geocode will fill it up. Stiofan just mentioned that Geocode API has very few free limit.

I have checked API console. It is 403 error. What would cause 403 error?

403 would probably account for out of quota.
Your options are pay for more, do it manually or change maps to OSM while you import (they have an abuse policy rather than a specific limit)

    Hi Stiofan,

Tried to force using OSM while importing, however, it seems that importing disregard what map API I use, and still generate Google Map API error.

Will keep trying to find out if it is the limit or not. I do not have many records with missing Lat Long, possibly 100-200 per month max. I thought google should have free api calls more than that. Will double check with google as well.

    Cheers

    Stiofan,

I just checked Google billing, it might not be the credit issue. I still have hundreds free trial credits in account tho
