geodirectory-2.0.0.38.zip – failed to load

    hello everyone,
    I just purchased the whole package 2 days ago and am looking to try the V2 version.

    I have tried to upload the file: geodirectory-2.0.0.38.zip both as a plugin and as a theme. as a plugin it fails to load, as a theme it is: The theme is missing the style.css stylesheet.

    Any ideas?

    Hi Roberto,

    Thanks for your post. Looks like you’re not installing it correctly. Geodirectory is a plugin and not a theme. Could you give it another try? If not, share your WP admin access in private reply and we’ll check on it.

    as a plugin it fails to load

    Do you get an error when you try to upload it as a plugin? Did you have V1 installed previously?

    If yes, you need to overwrite V1 with V2 via FTP. Or you should be able to do it with a plugin like this.

    Being a plugin, you’ll never be able to install it as a theme, it’ll never work.

    Thank you Kor and Paolo,

    It is great to have immediate feedback and it is much appreciated.

    As a plugin it fails to load and as Paolo has mentioned, I would need to work with FTP to make it work.

    I will stay with V1 at the moment until V2 will have all the same options as V1.
