As a Web designer and not so much “developer” is there an easy way to intergrate your plugin with my own created design and does it have to be within wordpress?

    Hi,

GeoDirectory is a WordPress plugin, so yes it can only work within WordPress.

If you don’t have knowledge of PHP HTML and CSS, it’ll be very hard to achieve anything decent. The best thing to do would be to do your design in illustrator or whatever you use and hire a developer to turn your design into a theme compatible with GeoDirectory.

    Thanks

I’m familiar with html and css buy not php unfortunately. Do you have docs on making a wordpress theme compatible with geodirectory?

All themes are compatible with GD out of the box.

Sometimes few classes must be edited in theme compatibility settings to adjust GD templates width.

Before it was done via a compatibility plugin:
    https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/how-to-build-your-own-theme-compatibility-plugin/

Creating a theme compatible with GeoDirectory using a custom design that requires markup elements to be moved around, require being a WordPress developer with good PHP knowledge.

We don’t have detailed documentation for a similar task.

    Thanks
