I’m doing a job portal and would like some information. Can I develop a job portal with this plugin? Is there any tutorial from you about this? Thank you!

I’m sure somebody with much more knowledge than myself will be along, but from my experimenting with it, it seems that you can make a job portal with it.

I run both a local job board site, and I am developing a local directory and news blog. For the job board I use WP Job Manager, which is a dedicated job portal plugin. It has two huge benefits in that it has a Ziprecruiter plugin that you can use to backfill your site AND it has an online “resume” builder. Plus, it’s pricing capabilities make more sense for a job portal.

If all you want to do is allow employers to list jobs and the basic details, GD would work. If you want a more purpose-built solution, I would look elsewhere.

    Thanks Jeremy for your input.
Quite a few users use a Custom Post Type [CPT] called “Jobs” and you can use File Uploads for resumes for example.
You can also link the Jobs CPT to a Business CPT for example, and then a new tab will be created for the Business.

    Thanks
