    Hi,

So we are having a problem where when we upload attachments to our listing the images will not show up and when we save the listing we get an array error.

We are thinking that what we need to do is delete the photos from the media library and re-upload, but when looking in the media library we found that only the featured image shows up none of the other images.

    Help would be much appreciated.

    Hello

True, only the GD Featured/First image is stored in the media library.

Send over your URL and WP Admin and we can take a look.

OK, and a listing showing the issue?

    Hello,

Thank you for sharing a URL. I looked at the page and the missing images. Often these issues are CDN/cache related, but that doesn’t appear to be the case here.

Please check if the images are still present in your media folders. Here is an example:

    wp-content/uploads/2018/03/26614_perla-east-passyunk-philadelphia-food-4-3.jpg

Not the media library, but directly in folder. You can check with FTP or something like it that allows you to examine the file location.

Perhaps the file have been moved, or one of the folders has been deleted. Let us know what you find.

Hey Alex so looking at the FTP what I am seeing is a bunch of files names 26614_geodir_logo_perla-east-passyunk-philadelphia-logo and I see a file called 26614_perla-east-passyunk-philadelphia-food-4.jpg. If I delete the files here and re-upload them should they appear?

    Hello,

if you found the files, that is good.

Are they in the correct directory?

You can check the listing you mentioned above, see the url for the missing image, and then verify if the image is in the right folder.

If it is not, then you could move the images into the correct folder, and then followup with the question “how did they get moved”?

    Hey Alex,

With this one listing, we are seeming to have a lot of trouble if you look here https://vrconcierge.com/restaurant/philadelphia/perla-2/ it says there is a 404 error. Now I deleted the photo’s that were not working thinking this would fix it but they’re still not showing up.

Also, this site has a lot of past listing that has images we want to get rid off. We want to know if deleting the listing would delete all the images associated with it or do we have to go in and manually do it? We think this might be what is causing the issues with the images and have had problems like this before.

Thank you for your help so far.

    Hello Jim,

deleting a listing does not delete the images, and there is no cleanup function like that at this time.
