Geodirectory v2 google map problem

    Hi
    We were using geodirectory v1, for more than 1 week wordpress panel notified us to upgrade to geodirectory v2 . We’ve completed the update process today however after updating we saw that the map is not loading (It was working fine when we were using v1). Do you know what may cause this problem.     I’ve disabled both autoptimize and w3 total cache but the result is still the same

    Hello,

    I keep getting an error of ‘connection reset’ when trying to load backend pages. I was able to login but havn’t been able to load a page to check additional settings.

    I would recommend you proceed with a more complete conflict test and try disabling additional plugins there are several errors in the console that could be causing problems with the map including JS errors from doubleclick.

    Try disabling the ads plugin or addressing those errors first and disabling additional plugins to see if you can identify the plugin causing the problem to narrow it down.

    You should also consider a more robust host because after 15 minutes I still cannot get a page on the backend to load.

    I’ve disabled all ads plugin and I’ve also cleared all the caches in w3 total cache but the result is the same.
    By the way this problem wasnt happening in geodirectory v1

    Hello Tolga,

    I found that plugin “Async JavaScript” raises JavaScript error that breaks map functionality on pages.

    Plugin “Async JavaScript” adds 

    defer='defer'

    to javascripts, here single quote raises JavaScript error.

    that solved the problem.
    Another problem I saw , when I upgraded to v2 is read more buttons seems to overlap with the texts(I’ve added the screenshot into attachment)
