    Good afternoon,

    I was wondering if you could lend me hand and help me figure out what I need to do concerning a few matters.

    1. We are offering 3 free months to all our new listing owners, a trail period. The thing is, considering that the first free months are free is there any way avoiding that new listing owners have to be redirected to Paypal, keeping in mind that they will be charged after the first 3 months?

    t see why it is necessary for them to go to be redirected to paypal if they don

    t have to pay anything.

    So, like I said, listing owners have a 3 month free trail period, but when the listing gets published, it shows only 30 days left before it expires, and I don´t understand why, because I have set 3 months in prices and plans. I have to manually change the date every time I publish a new listing, shouldn´t this be done automatically?

    2. The listings are not registering google analytics stats (views), it´s been online for almost 2 weeks now and I know for a fact that the listings have had views, but the google analytics shows that there are no stats available for the last 30 days. My google analytics account is registering views, but the listings on the website aren´t. I will be more than happy to give you my login credentials to be able to help me understand why, that is if you don´t mind helping me out here.

    3. I am having trouble translating a string. It is located in the new subscription registration form, and it is the following string:

    (Note: A password will be e-mailed to you for future usage)

    I have located this string in the main core language file (geodirectory-es_ES), and I have translated the string, but, for some reason, when I upload the po and mo files this string doesn´t translate. Is it possible that the string is located in another language file somewhere? If not, where can I find and delete this line in order for it not to show at all? (I understand it will be overwritten by future updates.)

    a typo on my behalf i´d imagine,the following sentence is in a box in my previous message

    Hi,

    1) they are sent to paypal to setup and authorize the recurring payments, that Paypal will start collecting after the 3 months of trial expire.

    That’s how paypal works, nothing we can change there.

    2) Have you followed these instructions with attention? http://docs.wpgeodirectory.com/core-general/#analytics

    3) I’ve just tested that translation here: http://wpgeo.directory/?geodir_signup (I’ve added a 2 at the end) and it works. Is any other translated string working?

    Hi Jan,

    pleasure is all mine.

    Sorry for missing part of the 1st question.

    1) There was a bug in the previous version of Prices and Payments addon. Last week we released an update to fix this.

    For listings created while the version with the bug was installed, you have to change expiry dates manually.

    2) The only thing I see that could be wrong is that the version of the po file you are using is from a very old version. Have you ever merged it with the latest version? The only way for me to check this would be to also have FTP access…

    3) Google Analytics didn’t let me in with your account. It’s asking me to verify that I am you via sms or your android tablet. We need to coordinate this when we are both online. Do you have a Skype account?

    Hi there,

    So, I am still not getting any views in my listings, I don´t know where to go from here as I have done everything that was suggested to me. And something new happened, I have two different websites using WP GeoDirectory, my other one worked fine, up until today, where all of a sudden I have an error message logging in to google analytics in the listings sidebar widget. I haven´t changed any settings, it worked fine the last time I checked.

    Could you help me out please.

    Hi Jan,

    Stiofan just discovered that Google changed their API for basically all their services recently.

    We are working on fixing and upgrading the Google Analytics part a bit.

    We will keep you posted.
