    Hi

I am getting an error on Google Maps API

Geocode was not successful for the following reason: OVER_QUERY_LIMIT

    See here: https://www.screencast.com/t/emqi9J833

I believe this is because a billing account has not be created/selected?

but there is, see here: https://www.screencast.com/t/9HKH4Rva

Any help will be most appreciated.

You are only allowed ‘1’ query to the JS Maps API without a billing account.

If you are on the trial, then following along with these instructions to create a new key that has all the APIs needed.

    Hi

I will have a look at the instructions.

But as shown in the post I am not knowingly on a trial or using a Google developer account without a credit card.

All very strange could it be a cache issue?

Anyway I will regenerate the API maybe that will solve the problem

    Hi

I have regenerated and ‘updated account’ didn’t spot that. I am still getting the same error.

I will check again in a couple of hours.

It seems GEO Directory still thinks it is connecting to some development/trial version of the Google Maps.

    When it is not.

Is this a known issue with GEO Directory?

    Check the query limit
    https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs-v2/integrations/google/#trial

Share the URL if you need help to check the console.

    Hi

not sure what I am looking at, this is what I see: https://www.screencast.com/t/2DBOe6J7

this is URL: https://www.screencast.com/t/hbiyyYP0pB of development site

Maybe the referers are wrong? See here: https://www.screencast.com/t/hLmNSUpn1 obviously one is the development site and one is the live site.

You can check the chrome dev console to see the error Google wants you to see.

Send the URL if you would like us to take a look.

I sent the URL in screen shot. although I am not sure that will help as we have an image for the Map at the moment, as the Map doesn’t work.

I will remove and send URL.

Thanks for that I have chased by developer!! So should it be controlled by ‘GD Listing Right Sidebar’?
