Google chrome desktop has my location but my map has me at a different location

We have moved to a support ticketing system and our forums are now closed.

    when i tick ‘near me’ my map has me located at the default location for my website. I am currently about 75km from that location. I have checked on google maps where chrome thinks I am and it has me at my exact location.

    Why does the wpgeodirectory map have my location incorrect?

    You should set your maps to auto-zoom.

    The geolocation works correctly for me, I am in Brisbane.
    If you are on a desk computer without geolocation capabilities, the location may be off.

    i’m on windows 10. why can google chrome identify my exact location but the map on my site can’t?
