    Hi, if I do not activate Google Maps on my GD plugin and use Open Street, when users visit my website and click on a address, will it bring them automatically to their google maps app on their device so they can use google maps for driving instructions?

    Basically, I would like to know if there are any cons to using Open Street instead of Google Maps in the plugin. Thank you so much!!

    Hi Hui Ling Tan,

    Thanks for your post. I’d like you to know that the “Get Directions” will work for both Open Street Map and Google map. As for comparing both maps, you might want to check out this article http://geoawesomeness.com/why-would-you-use-openstreetmap-if-there-is-google-maps/ .
