    Hello Support Team and Community,

did anyone make an experience with this topic?

What I have found with Google is, that we have to maintain a list of the API keys and have to use for each server another key. I have both the staging and the production of the same IP.

So how do you manage it with the Google Maps JS API key for staging and production and does this have some consequences on the GeoDirectory site or on its SEO (could be this spam)?

Thank you for any link and hint!
    Greetings, Marius

    Hello,

a scripted MySQL query would be one way to do it.

    Hi Marius,

I’m using the same API key for staging and live site. Even cross different domain names I’m using the same API key. I have not seen any issue with this, as the developer console allows you to add whatever you like to your key.
Why should this have an effect on SEO? The crawlers will not see any information about the keys.

    Best,
    Dirk

Hi Alex, you mean, to have the keys in a DB table?

Thank you Dirk, I will check the options and test it today, thank you for your shared experience.

Dirk is right, it’s possible to use the same key.

I was saying scripting like using WPCLI https://developer.wordpress.org/cli/commands/option/
