Google Maps are not loading

    Hi

    None of the Google maps sections on our dev site are currently loading.

    The Google API KEY has been added and I tried to use the “API KEY for Google Maps” plugin to fix the issue but it’s still not loading.

    No errors appear on the front end, it just looks like it is still loading. I can see “404 (Not Found)” errors in the console but I can’t work out what is causing them.

    GD Booster is for V1, I have disabled it.

    You do not need the API key plugin, placing the key in GD settings is enough.

    Your Google key is not functional, probably need to add billing to raise the query limit.

    Try switching to OSM, then adjust the location on a listing to use the new MAP API to get the location updated. Save it and check if it works.

    Hi Alex, thanks for your help.

    I have done some checking of the API account and limits that the API might have.

    The billing was activated but I had to click a button to upgrade the account so that I could increase the quota limit. The limit seems to be correct now and I see “Google Maps API Loaded :)” in the console.

    The map on the listing page still don’t seem to load.
    The map loads fine on the create a listing page.

    There is a missing map marker for the listing category. Reupload and the map should work. Map icons are required.

    Thanks for all the help.

    Incase any one else has similar issues, I discovered that the Rest API was disabled on the website and turning it back on fixed the issue.
