    Hey Guys,

    It looks like the multi-column view option is no longer working with the new version. Regardless of how many columns you set in the admin design section, list view is the only option that appears.

    p.s. The location_manager.php 1.0.5 package still has the 1.0.4 version number set. So WP thinks it needs to be updated still.

    Hi Howard,

    Thanks for that, what we have done is give the option for the user to select the view there, the admin selected view should be the default one but there was a bug there, i have fixed it in core and it will be in the next version.

    Thanks,

    Stiofan

    This this option something that we can turn off as administrators.

    I really don’t want people changing the way things are displayed on my site.

    thanks

    Hi Kevin,

    It’s not an option that can be turned off at the moment, but i think if you add this to your child theme functions it will remove it.

    remove_action('geodir_before_listing', 'geodir_list_view_select', 100);

    Thanks,

    Stiofan

    Thanks @stiofan,

    Unfortunately, I am caught in the middle here. The grid view selector does not show on /places and I cannot force it to go to multi-columns. Is there a database entry or code entry I can add to make the Grid-view selector work? Or can you point me to the module to modify?

    Thanks, Howard
