Having a drop down on Search pages, showing available categories

Hi,

On the search facility on the showcase listing page, can we also have a category drop down selection, so the visitor can select a category and then search in a location.

That is version 2 I am using version 1 does this not function not exist on V1 ?

Sorry? I am not asking for free support of a paid for plugin, I am asking whether something is possible or not.

Your colleague answered giving me a V2 solution. Which is no good to me as I am using V1.

So I need to know if somewhere there is a V1 solution for supporting ‘Drop Downs’ in the front end search function. As per my screenshot.

ok I have that addon so I have asked the question in that forum.

As long as it is possible in V1 that is fine.
