    I’ve run a health check and getting the following error message:

    GeoDirectory The loopback request to your site failed, this may prevent WP_Cron from working, along with theme and plugin editors.
    Error encountered: (0) cURL error 28: Operation timed out after 10001 milliseconds with 0 out of -1 bytes received.

    Will this cause any issues on my site and how can I fix it / do I need to fix it?

    Hello, is your GeoDirectory plugin up to date? There was a small issue with sessions that sounds similar and was fixed a few versions ago, if you are all up to date just let us know.

    Yes this is related to the wp session class on ajax calls.
    We use crons with no problems and no problems have been reported with this.
    We no longer use this class in GDv2 but as i said, its not causing any problems just now.

    Thanks Stiofan – does that mean I can ignore it or do I need to do something? We’re having speed issues with GD on both my websites and wondering if this could be the cause?

    Hi Jennie,

    You can ignore that, i’m sure it has nothing to do with the speed issues.

    How many listings do you have and what is your hosting spec?

    We have 1,400 listings, 2.6k events, 1.1k blog posts and 21k images.

    6 CPU – E5-2630 v4 @ 2.20GHz
    6GB 2400 MHz memory
    30GB – Hardware Raid 10 with 8 x 860 Pros
