Hi all!
Well after three days of trying myself via forum posts I’m breaking down and posting because i simply can’t spend anymore time scouring the forums for answers. Oh the joys of being a WP Themes newbie.
I’ve got a couple issues which I will address with supporting photos.
Issue #1 – Eliminate widget content wrapping. See image tam_screenshot_counts_misaligned.png
When I put the Popular Categories widget above the map, it gets compressed and wrapped. In that area there shouldn’t be any reason for it, at least not one I can think of lol. I’m open to solutions to try and trouble shoot. At first I thought it was a widget issue but I relocated said widget to the content area and there is no wrapping… Anyone have any ideas what I can tweak to try and eliminate that wrapping?
Issue #2 – reduce the dead space on left & right. Please see image tam_border_resizing.png
I’d really like to have this equal to the header size basically full width. Is this settable somewhere that I am missing? again, the joys of being a WP Themes newbie, which leads me into…
Issue #3 re-sizing columns for widgets in proportion to accommodate 180×150 ads in the right side bar and 728×90 ads in the content area. Please see image tam_column_resize_to_fit_banner.png
Incidentally when set to display a 180×150 ad, it will NOT appear if placed in any of the right sidebar locations for some odd reason. Said widget works and displays fine in the header and content areas though when set to either ad size. This may be a widget issue and not a Theme issue.
Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks much!
P.S. I’m assuming tags = keywords to I tried to put in detailed terms to help others later on if this post helps me 🙂
