Hide custom post type selector on search page

Im trying to hide the custom post type selector on the search page, the shortode does not support this, i tried hiding it using CSS display:none for .gd-search-field-cpt but this wraps and hides the categories drop down too, is there a seperate div for the cusotm post drop down? i tried select.search-by-post, but the wrapper stays there and keeps an empty gap in the search…
