Hide custom post types on search?

    Hi All,

    We have a list of custom post types on our search page that we would like to restrict some of them to certain user roles (based on user role editor). In other words: We want to hide some of the custom post types for users that are not logged in.
    Is this possible? and how?
    Is there a plug-in for role based authorizations/access control lists?
