    Hiya

Do you know which section I alter to hide all listings until after the search has taken place please?

This is my main home page…which currently shows all business’ below the map.

    http://185.116.213.24/~ivca/global-search/

Just want the map to show (ideally with all pins showing) and nothing below the search bar until after the user has searched for their business.

    Many Thanks
    Lucy

Hi Lucy, you can just delete the Popular Post widget from the GD Home Content section.

    Thanks.

Thanks Guust, I don’t have it activated. Any other thoughts?

    Cheers

That seems to be a Listings page, although it has a Home/location map on it instead of a listings map.
    You can try this CSS:

    .post-type-archive-gd_place .container {display: none;}

Thank you, that hides the listings but keeps the title.

I think this is my issue. I want this to be the so called GeoDirecty home page (although not my actual homepage) rather than my listings page. I’m trying to find out how to do this.

    Many Thanks
    Lucy

My GD Home page remains blank no matter what widgets I drop into it. Any thoughts on why that would be?

    Many Thanks

I’m so sorry but when I search I am now getting random post at the top rather than business’. Any ideas which setting this is?

    http://185.116.213.24/~ivca/?geodir_search=1&stype=gd_place&s=+&snear=ba1+2sa&sort_by=&sgeo_lat=51.3885601&sgeo_lon=-2.364288399999964

Hopefully if I can get the GD Home page working this will solve everything 🙂

    Thanks again
    Lucy

    Hi,

is the GD Home selected as such in GeoDirectory >> Permalinks?

If you don’t want to use it as your actual home page, than just use the location page: http://185.116.213.24/~ivca/location/

The widget areas that it uses are the GD Home widget areas.

    Thanks

The problem there is caused by Theme My login.

    That plugin is not compatible.

    Thanks
