Hide Places in Search Bar

We have moved to a support ticketing system and our forums are now closed.

    Hi: I’ve added custom posts. “jobs, events, things to do”. I don’t want Places to appear in the search bar since I have no listings under Places.

    Hello Cory, you can hide post type going in the Geodirectory settings, under Design, and clicking on the Map tab.
    (this will also hide Places from within the map)

    Hmm.. i was thinking that once the post type was checked on the settings, it would be gone from the search bar too, but it isn’t..tried with some css (:first-child etc..) but it seems I have no success, I will notify Paolo, he will sure be more helpful than me.
