I would like to be able to hide the profile tab if it’s empty and default to the map. Is this possible? I only want the details in the profile for paid/featured listings, and the other listings to only have the place details in the sidebar and the map displayed in the main area.

    Hi,

this will require custom work, I’m not sure what’s your level of programming, but this will require quite a bit and it goes beyond support.

To hide a tab conditionally you can check this tutorial: https://wpgeodirectory.com/re-order-tabs-in-a-listing-detail-page/

However hiding a tab only if it’s empty is more complex.

To move elements around from the main contant area to the sidebar will also require a customization.

Let us know if you feel confident you can complete this on your own and if you need more pointers or if you prefer us to move this request in the Jobs section of the forum.

    Thank you

    Thanks Paolo,

I don’t know if I’m comfortable with any major programming changes. I am considering hiding the description input from the online “submit a listing” form. And just having a graphic come up in place that says “Make this a featured listing to add a description and images”.

    Thank you for your input.
