Home link not working on breadcrumb when coming from 2 levels

Hi,

I have this issue on two test sites and on a live site (separate installs). Here are links to the test site to play:

When 1 level into the breadcrumb (Home / Places) clicking on the Home link (or the home menu link) works and brings back to the static home page. Try it here: http://ww2.arbolife.com/places/

When 2, 3 or 4 levels into the breadcrumb (2 levels: Home/Places/Switzerland | 4 levels: Home/Places/Switzerland/Neuchâtel/Store) clicking on the Home link (or the home menu link) DOES NOT works and brings to a default listing of blog articles. Try it here:

I need to fix this ASAP as the other site is intended to go live tomorrow with a directory.
