The solution is on the tpoic I linked.
I report it here for your convenience
use the shortcode builder to get the correct V2 shortcode:
https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs-v2/geodirectory/personalize/#elementsyou are looking for sort_by=”high_rating”
Thank you

Thanks for your support. Please advise where in the topic was the part explaining how to add new sorting option (sort by featured).I went through the link Paolo sent and there was nothing mentioned about it.
ThanksMay 14, 2019 at 4:16 pm #486427I just noticed now that issue #485561 back again. The Listing Title is not showing after paging. I believe you solve this by running a batch. do you need to run this batch again.
May 14, 2019 at 11:50 pm #486537Info for sorting is here: https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs-v2/places/sorting/
I now added Featured sorting at Places > Settings > Sorting, see image 1.
That makes sort available in the shortcodes, blocks or widgets, see image 2.
You are using blocks rather than shortcodes, so I have added a test page for you to see how to use the GD Listings block instead of coding your shortcodes manually: …/wp-admin/post.php?post=2326&action=edit
On that page, click the block, that will show the settings on the right, you may have to toggle the “Show Advanced Settings?” button to see all of them.
See also https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs-v2/integrations/gutenberg/#blockThe Listing Title is not showing after paging.
I cannot see that on your homepage. The widget titles like “Places” and “Events” stay visible when clicking on the pagination links.
Am I misunderstanding?Thanks
May 15, 2019 at 7:04 am #486573Hi Guust,
Thanks for your reply. I need to know how you added the new (2To5 & 5To2) sorting at Places > Settings > Sorting. Where they came from???. Also, I added before ?Featured in Places > Settings > Sorting but it never show under block sorting option. That was my question from the beginning as I could not found any doc explain how to create new sorting such as the one you just did. Please explainThe Listing Title is showing now, it was not showing yesterday when I sent you my reply but I’m happy it’s showing anyway.
May 15, 2019 at 9:26 am #486585I need to know how you added the new (2To5 & 5To2) sorting at Places > Settings > Sorting.
I did not add them, they were there …
You must have added them first at
Places > Settings > Custom Fields > Hotelstar > Show advanced > Include this field in sorting options > Yes
and then added them at Places > Settings > Sorting.
2To5 & 5To2 both are a renamed “Hotelstar” field.May 15, 2019 at 3:55 pm #486685Sorry guys, I got so confused, now I understand. Thank you Paolo,Kiran,Guust. Excellent support team 🙂
