Is there currently a way to simply link to the geodirectory homepage map page? the same as if it was on the homepage? I would like to use the homepage layout on a back page, link to it on the menu.

    Thanks

Yes, you can use the location page. yoursite.com/location it is identical to your home page.

Go to Appearance >> Menu and add a custom link to it.

    Thx

    Thanks Paolo.

Now is it possible to only have the geodirectory map show on the /location page? I am using x with slider and content on homepage but want to have a link to the map on the location page from homepage menu? Do I need a short code to accomplish this?

Hope that makes sense. Thanks so much for your help.

    Cheers,
    Montey

No, just add a link to /location/ on your menu.

Than tweak the GeoDir Home widget areas to adjust the page to your needs.

Ok, so now if I activate the “location Manager” plugin, the homepage will default to the blog page. When I de-activate location manager, it will revert back to the /location page as my homepage. Suggestions?

    Thanks!

Fixed, had to uninstall and reinstall location manager plugin, go back and uncheck use geodirectory as homepage in design settings again ( it was checked be default? ). For some reason it worked.

Its back, unfortunately un and re install of location manager plugin does not seem to fix permanently, problem described above is back. When I activate location manager, my homepage switches to the Blog page. When I deactivate , switches back to /location page.
