how bypass http:// is required in website field

Hi,
when I import listings using SOCIAL IMPORTER ADDON, in the field WEB SITE some times is imported URL without Http:// (for example like http://www.example.com).
In this case will be showed a message sayng “http:// is required”.
is there a way for by pass this requeriment?
Some JQUERY code…
