How do I change expiry dates to "never"

    Hi,
    I have event posts that have expired. To prevent my website from having a whole lot of 404s I’d like to set these posts expiry date to “never”, but the system isn’t allowing me to do this. I remove the date and hit publish and the original expiry date reappears in the event post.
    How do I fix this please?
