How do I get Categories to appear on the map widget?

My site is here. http://www.aroundneath.co.uk/

I added a load of categories, and added a new listing (place) to one of them. however the listing isn’t appearing on the right hand site category option bar, nor is the listing (place) appearing on the map.

Noob question I guess, but how do I get categories into that right hand area (with the check boxes) and thus (hopefully appearing on the map.

Hello, I do see the categories, probably it is a cache issue on your side 🙂

I have worked it out. There were 3 categories, but we hadn’t had the 4th (taxis) showing. We had to set the category as a default category to allow it to appear on the right hand side.
