How do I get results by meta field value?

I have a post type called “Gear” that has a custom field called “Level”. How would I only get posts that have the value “Beginner” for the “Level” field?

I’m envisioning something like:

http://mysite.com/wp-json/geodir/v2/gear?level=Beginner

But I know that’s not right.

Hello Aleks,

API route you mentioned is correct to search for Beginner. But i checked and it looks like WordPress has something changed in API that affected the GD API searching.

We have opened task to check and fix this issue.
