How do we make address not required for Events?

    Hi,

    the address is either mandatory for all listings of that type or hidden. It can’t be optional.

    Hi Paolo, thanks. Some events have no location, such as live streams, virtual meetups, or online conferences. Can you please make it optional in the future?

    Hi there,

    Thanks for your reply. A workaround for you (just incase you don’t know) would be to create a new CPT for your non-address events and another with a physical address.

    Hi Kor,
    Thanks for the reply, but that means splitting the events directory into two and this is not what we are looking for. What is the reason to make addresses mandatory?

    For optimized SQL queries on location-based searches, all listings must have a location. That is the main scope of our plugin.

    The alternative is a new CPT with physical location disabled.

    Could we hire your company for a custom plugin development? Making fields optional doesn’t seem like an impossibility.
